The last two days were truly amazing – I spend a lot of time in water, diving with giant turtles and playing with Bajau (sea gipsies) kids around Mabul and Kapalai islands in Borneo. More pictures to come soon.
Indonesia: Sumbawa smiles

“Hello, mister!!!” everybody is screaming and waving as we pass by. Road tripping through Indonesia was really nice so far – beautiful and happy people makes as smile throughout the day.
Myanmar: on the boat

It takes 22 hours on the boat to get from Yangon to Pathen in Myanmar. A few people spend those hours in privat cabins, but most of the travelers stay on the deck. It doesn’t matter if the sun is shining or the rain is pouring – everybody sits or lays still and calm, watching each other and life on the banks. Myanmar: Dhala, Bamboo village

This bamboo village, that contains a few hundred tiny bamboo houses is just on the oter side of the river from Yangon in Myanmar. Even though people live in pretty poor conditions there, they smile a lot and warmly welcome all, who wonders around.
